Mrs. Greeson received her BA in Music Education with an emphasis in Voice from Shorter College in 2006.

She received her Masters Degree from Boston University this summer with a degree in Music Education.

She begins her Doctorate Degree, also from Boston, this Fall.

Gordon County Schools: Ashworth Middle School - 4 years


Mrs. Greeson was very involved in the music programs in Gordon County Schools growing up. At Ashworth Middle School, she began playing the Clarinet in under Mr. Larry Brown and had Ms. Shanon Waldrop for chorus and drama. At Gordon Central, she participated in Marching Band as Section leader for the Pit under the direction of  Mr. Neal Crawford.
She also partciated in Bella Voce, the Gordon Central Chorale, and Tonal Cumbustion under Ms. Kim Watters. In addition, Mrs. Greeson was very involved in the drama department at Gordon Central, participating in both One Act and the Spring Musical each year.

After graduating high school, she attended Shorter College where she was Alto section leader of the famed Shorter Chorale. She became Vice President in her Junior year and President in her Senior year of the music honor society Mu Phi Epsilon. Mrs. Greeson also performed and stage managed several operas while attending college.

After college, she received a job teaching Chorus in Troup County, but after three years, she is back in her hometown and ready to make music with some wonderful kids!

Mrs. Greeson and her husband are currently expecting their first child, due on October 11.

Mrs. Greeson's mother, aunt, and sister all work for Gordon County Schools, and her younger brother is currently working as an opera singer with the Pensacola Opera Company.
